Given the geographic and cultural distance between the Republic of Korea and the Baltic States of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, most people in the three countries might have only a vague knowledge, if at all, about the small country in the far eastern tip of the Asian continent, sandwiched between Japan and the People’s Republic of China, and facing a rather hostile neighbor to the north.
