One of the causes of the Lithuanian financial crisis is that the former long-serving governor of the Bank of Lithuania, Reinoldijus Sarkinas, showed too much confidence in Swedish banks holding a major market share in the country, and he did not control external credit inflows, says economist Stasys Jakeliunas, reports news agency ELTA.
