President Dalia Grybauskaite, signing amendments earlier this month to the Law on Natural Gas and the Law on the Implementation, both of which will allow unbundling gas production, supply and transportation, took an important step towards energy independence because having unbundled these three operations, Lithuania’s dependence on one gas supplier will decrease, reports news agency ELTA.
