During the first eight months of 2011, wood exports amounted to 773.7 million lats (1.1 billion euros), according to information from the Agriculture Ministry’s Forest Department, reports Nozare.lv. The total amount of wood exports was 17.1 percent higher than in the corresponding period of 2010.
