Economic sanctions rarely achieve their aims, but on March 23 foreign ministers of all the EU member states, during their meeting in Brussels, imposed sanctions against 29 Belarusian companies, which are related to three Belarusian oligarchs who are close to the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko.
