Latvia hopes to preserve intimate and effective relations with the UK after its exit from the European Union, said Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (Unity) after his meeting with British Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, David Jones, during the EU General Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.
