Lithuania’s Economy Ministry revealed on September 25 that around 900 Lithuanian short-term rentals, or ca 60% of all rentals being advertised on the Booking.com platform, operate illegally, i.d. do not have the required licenses issued by the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority.
