At the end of the first quarter this year, foreign direct investment accumulated in the Latvian economy stood at 6.5 billion lats (9.2 billion euros), which is 10 percent more than at the end of the first quarter of 2011, says an Economy Ministry report on the economic development in Latvia, reports Nozare.lv.
