After a few days of sober (and not so sober) reflection upon the results of the presidential election in America, I find myself troubled not so much by the victory of the utter cipher that is Donald Trump, but far more by what he has unleashed in the land of my birth — racism, sexism, xenophobia, self-absorption, and did I mention racism?
